It's not Paris or NY but it doesn't claim to be. Ask some of the people walking around town on the weekends. They are often visiting from elsewhere in NJ and making a day of it. There's enough to eat and to watch and to do to make it fun. I guess you haven't made much of an effort during your four years in town. To bad for you. There are a lot of things to do in Princeton if you manage to get out of your dorm room/eating club once in a while.
