From what I've gathered, there is going to be/has been filming for Transformers 2 on Princeton campus! Can anyone fill us in on details about filming? Has anyone seen any camera crews around?
Apparently, Shia LeBeouf's character Sam attends Princeton University in the movie. His roommate, "Chuck," is the second lead.

yes - they are filming here! mccosh 50 this morning, and on washington road. other places soon, i'm thinking.

Yes it is true. I saw them setting up this morning to flim around 8:30 on Alexander Road
They're filming on Washington between Nassau and Prospect, but seem to be pretty anal about letting anyone watch from a location that would let you see any substantial part of the filming.
a friend who is staying at upenn for the summer told me she has seen shia labeouf filming over there for transformers 2. however, she also says that in the movie the upenn campus is supposed to represent pton.
i know, it didn't make sense to me either.
p.s. what is it with shia and ivy league campuses? the indy 4 college chase scene was filmed at yale.
Saw the trailers off of Alexander Street...havent heard any details though
yeah they were right by the big fountain around 4:30 or 5 o'clock ish
