How do you feel about the new construction?

And you thought the economy meant that Princeton would stop building things.

The University received approval from the Regional Planning Board of Princeton to go ahead with plans to build the new neuroscience and psychology complex. It will house the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Psychology. The complex will be on the west side of Washington Road and will consist of four stories for the neuroscience portion and six stories for the psychology department designed by Spanish architect José Rafael Moneo Vallés.

The Princeton Neuroscience Institute, which be a part of the approved complex, is estimated to cost $450 million between construction, endowed professorships, an expanded undergraduate certificate program and graduate and post-graduate funding.
