Trader Joe's coming to Princeton

Good news for all the fanatic Trader Joe fans on campus: When you return to campus this fall, a brand-new TJ's will be opening its automatic doors just three miles from campus.

The Princeton Packet reported over the weekend that the California-based specialty grocery store will open in the old Sleepy's mattress store in the Square at West Windsor shopping center on Route 1.

But no "Two Buck Chuck," folks. A company spokeswoman told the Packet the store will not be selling alcohol.

A Trader Joe's without alcohol is like a day without sunshine.

Trader Joe's stocks almost all of the endangered fish species on Greenpeace's Red List. Not good. Boycott TRAITOR joes.

How is it that they are traitors? Have they violated a longstanding pledge of allegiance to fish?

And where, pray tell, should we shop? How many stores don't sell endangered fish?

If you're not willing to provide us with a handy guide to stores where self-righteous people can feel comfortable, then you should keep your buzzkill ideas to yourself.

Here's the list: http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/campaigns/oceans/seafood/red-fish

Yeah, just about every store that sells fish has something on this list. If you boycott places that sell tuna, where do you shop?

you don't need to boycott trader joes, but you shouldnt buy the endangered fish. greenpeace and the monterey bay aquarium both have guides online so it's pretty easy to know.
