Coming in with a B- Princeton received the lowest overall grade for sustainability practices in the Ivy League in the 2010 College Sustainability Report Card, which is produced by the Sustainable Endowments Institute. This was lower than last year's grade of a B.
The scores are based on the results from four surveys addressing issues related to campus, dining, the endowment and students. The report then uses these answers to find the school's score for each of 48 indicators. A scale is then used to find the school's letter grade in the nine main areas.
Princeton performed well in the areas of Administration, Climate Change and Energy, Food and Recycling, Green Building, Student Involvement, Transportation and Investment Priorities. Princeton struggled in terms of Endowment Transparency, where it received a D, and Shareholder Engagement where it received an F.
Around the Ivy League Brown, Harvard, Penn and Yale received grades of an A-, Dartmouth received a B+ and Cornell and Columbia received Bs. Despite Princeton's comparatively poor performance, it is listed as a Campus Sustainability Leader.

I hope our grade keeps going down. Sustainability is nothing but a buzzword here anyway.
