Ralph Nader ’55 stopped at Labyrinth last weekend to promote his new book. It’s worth noting that he visited the New Haven neighbors to talk about the book several weeks before visiting his own alma mater. Ouch.
From his visit, we get that Nader, at 75, is a little out of touch with the youth demographic. On his agenda of things to bash included several items that students hold dear, like texting, Facebook and basically all types of non-physical communication.
Good luck reaching out to prospective agitators and organizers.
The latest tome, a lengthy work of fiction that easily doubles as a telephone book, is called “Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us!” We’re left to wonder whether visiting an alumni gathering was next on his list of places to visit.
