Um ... what?

You may not think of Princeton, N.J. as a tourist destination (outside of visiting prefrosh), but The New York Times sure does, as they included it in a list of 12 weekend getaways:
For a small town, the academic enclave 90 minutes south of New York City has plenty of big-city activities.
O RLY? Basically, they say you should go to the Art Museum, the Historical Society, Small World, Mediterra and McCarter.

I guess if you live there you're pretty used to it, but it makes perfect sense. There are a lot of things to do in Princeton if you manage to get out of your dorm room/eating club once in a while. I loved walking around the town and exploring while I was there.

Princeton is a great place to spend a day or a weekend. It's not Paris or NY but it doesn't claim to be. Ask some of the people walking around town on the weekends. They are often visiting from elsewhere in NJ and making a day of it. There's enough to eat and to watch and to do to make it fun. I guess you haven't made much of an effort during your four years in town. To bad for you. RLY.
