The situation in the clubs

We've heard that several of the clubs were on lockdown, allowing students in but not letting them out. If you were in an eating club when the alert went out tonight, please comment here to let us know what procedures were put into action.

Update: Charter's president made an announcement putting the club on lockdown after receiving the campus safety alert; Terrace was allowing students in but not letting them out; Tower moved students to its top floor; Colonial was neither allowing students in nor letting them out.

It might be best not to post any specifics about response measures in the case that the information might be used in the future by the wrong people. Just general policy.

Again, please remove this information about response measures in the clubs. It is an issue of security to publish this information.

so the clubs let students in but not out. not letting students out equates to false imprisonment, and allowing students in could allow the student with the weapon to enter
way to go club bouncers

Seems like kind of a stretch to me. They reacted about how I, or probably anyone else, would have guessed. No real surprises or shocking security measures put in place.
