Highlights from the Princeton University Department of Public Safety Crime Log since March 14:
1915 Hall: March 14, 2:32 p.m. A DPS staff member observed an individual dismount from a bicycle and place it up against a tree after being seen by the officer. The individual was identified as a student who admitted to taking the bicycle without the owners consent. The bicycle was confiscated. Report filed: Case referred.
Prospect Avenue: March 22, 8:55 a.m. A non-affiliated person reported a University golf cart in a ravine along the tow path in Griggstown. Unit dispatched. Investigation revealed that the cart was stolen from campus. The golf cart was recovered and towed to the impound lot. Report filed; Investigation to continue.
Walker Hall: March 24, 12:04 p.m. A Princeton University student reported the apparent theft of his bicycle from entry one, which occurred three months prior to today. Unit dispatched. The bicycle was registered with decal P-010189. Report filed.
Frist Campus Center: March 30, 8:47 a.m. A Dining Services manager reported the apparent theft of ice cream from an ice cream machine. Unit dispatched. Report filed; Investigation to continue.
Edwards Hall: April 2, 3:36 p.m. A DPS staff member, observed an individual handing out papers on the west side of Edwards Hall. Individuals issued a verbal warning and left campus. No report filed.
